Cheaper alternative to SimpleHuman's rust-free shower caddy
April 11, 2013
I bought this because I didn't want to pay the $130 for SimpleHuman's rust-free shower caddy, which is pretty steep but they make good products. Though I'm happy I paid $60 less, I feel I definitely lost out a little on quality. It's been 3 months now, and yes, there is no rust which is super. But, the pole and trays aren't the best design. The one I had for a couple years from Target was very sturdy and the trays were solid (not wobbly) and even. However it rusted within a few months. This shower caddy the trays are really wobbly and it drives me crazy how my bottles, especially thinner ones for shampoo and other face wash-type bottles always fall over. The pole itself is wobbly too and the cap at the top doesn't fit and cover the spring piece. Hard to explain, you'll know when you put it together.
Pros:-rust-free after a few months thus far
-much cheaper than SimpleHuman's rust-free caddy
Cons:-Trays are too wobbly so bottles fall over
-Structure in general not as solid as I'd like
