Outfitting Your Bath And Shower

When youíre faced with a completely empty bathroom, getting it properly decked out may seem a bit overwhelming. With a few tips you can get your bath and shower properly outfitted in no time.

Bathroom Essentials There are several must-haves when it comes to the bathroom: towels, a bath mat, and in many (but not all) cases, a shower curtain.

  • Towels: For each individual using the bathroom, youíll need at least one bath towel and a washcloth. Two of each per person are even better to ensure everyone always has a clean towel handy.
  • Bath mats: No-slip bath rugs not only look good, they help absorb excess water from the bathroom floor and provide a stable place to step out of the shower or bath. These mats come in a variety of colors and patterns. Many towel sets have coordinating bath mats to make decorating your bath a breeze.
  • Shower curtains: If you donít have an enclosed shower stall, these are essential to keep all that water in the tub and off the floor. Shower curtains are available in a seemingly endless array of fabrics, patterns and colors, so itís easy to find one that works with your color scheme.
  • Storage: Reduce clutter by using baskets and plastic bins to keep bathroom items organized and accessible.

Beyond the essentials, you might want a few extras like hand towels, liquid soap dispensers, tissue holders and shower caddies.
