Blackout panels are great
April 23, 2013
These panels are exactly as described. They provide great privacy, darkness in my bedroom and I'm sure they'll help cut electric bills when summer kicks in. I plan to buy more for other windows.
Pros:
No vinyl odor is a big plus!

The blackout panels are easy to install with the included hooks. I have used them behind several different types of fabric curtains and they work great. The size is exact.
Pros:
Ease of use and the price.

Blackout liners
December 28, 2011
Work well for darkening room , but 54 inches is the total width , so will not fit normal curtains . If you have small narrow windows these would probably fit .

Works Great!
August 23, 2010
The panels were a perfect fit for my curtains. Easy to install and no smell. Sometimes theses liners can smell like plastic, but not these! And, the blackout does the job. Must say this is the BEST online shopping experience I ever had. Loved the follow up from UPS!

BIG DISAPPOINTMENT...
October 18, 2012
I recently bought these liners because I had a pair that was bought couple years ago from a store and still works really well but I can't seem to find more at the stores. So when I finally found these liners again on this website I was so excited! However, as soon as I opened the bag and felt the fabric of the liners I was disappointed. It is thinner and the loops on the liners are not as strong. Even I double layer the liners, it still doesn't black out as much light as the old ones I have. The old eclipse blackout liners I got from the store are stronger and thicker. So I wonder if they have gone cheap on all of their products...
Pros:
I want to say none of it but when you double layers them, it still makes the room darker.
Cons:
As I said..big disappointment!

Like a Charm!
July 4, 2012
It does exactly what it says. Nothing can eliminate 100% of light from direct exposure (like I have) but WOW, this was a 1000% improvement over the darkest lining the fabric store sold me (a complete waste of $$).
Pros:
It works.

Helped with sleep
June 6, 2011
Hi. I would highly recommend these liners. I have neighbors behind us who feel the need to compete with the Luxor as far as the power of their backdoor light. I put these liners on the curtains and have slept much better. Great product.

They help keep the cold air out during these freezing nights.
February 1, 2011
I have had liners like these in the past. They really help to cut down on my utility bills. This winter has been exceptionally cold. I am hoping to be able to keep the bills down while I can still be comfortable inside.
Pros:
I like the way they help to protect from the cold. I just got my heating bill for when I didn't have them and I am still in shock.
Cons:
I wish I could get them in wider widths. I have large patio windows. I am going to have to sew the panels together, and even at that it leaves spots that are open. Plus, this type also cuts out all light coming in during the day.

Easily Attached
August 13, 2010
This is a very good idea, unfortunately each panel is very narrow. If the panels were wider I would buy more. I didn't realize that 54" wide was the combined measurement of the two panels. The quality is good and they are easily attached with the hooks provided. Each panel was 1" narrower than specified.
Pros:
The panels are lightweight, room darkening and are easy to attach.
Cons:
They are too narrow for American windows.

thermal liner
February 12, 2010
The thermal liner is made very well! Very pleased with the overall quality! However, the width is not 54" per panel rather 27" inches per panel. This posed a huge problem as it did not state that in the product write up. I now need to sew together 2 panels for a total of 54" (total of 4 panels per window). Keep that in mind when ordering as I need to order 2 more panels last minute.

    What does "Compare at" mean?

The term "Compare at" means the price at which an item or comparable item may, in the reasonable judgment of our experienced buyers, be sold on an everyday basis. (i.e. excluding special promotions or sales) at retail stores. In the case of factory serviced items, the "Final Sale" price reflects the retail price of that item, if new. For our items that are sold in a set, the "Compare at" price reflects the retail price of each individual item if sold separately.
