Customize Your Bathrooms
Not every bathroom
in your home is alike. The master bath gets used in one way, the children’s bath in another and the guest bath in another still. Because they all have different uses, they all have different needs. Customizing the accessories in each bathroom
saves money and can make your life easier.Children’s Bathroom
Young ones will need items that are durable and easy to access. Opt for plastic accessories and keep clutter to a minimum. A liquid soap dispenser, toothbrush holder, wastebasket and a tissue dispenser may be all that’s needed here. Other items like a net for tub toys, a step stool and a non-skid bath mat are good ideas as well.
If your guest bathroom is the one that’s used by both overnight guests and people just dropping by for the evening, you’ll need to make it easy to keep it stocked. A toilet paper holder can keep extra rolls handy for this high-traffic area. A tray or basket to hold hand towels might also be a good option. Bar soap may seem unsanitary, so a liquid soap dispenser is a good option.
Master baths are oftentimes used by at least two people, often at the same time. Depending on how busy the room is, you may want to consider “his-and-hers” sets of bath accessories. If you have dual sinks, for example, it may make sense to have two soap dishes or dispensers.
